I adore men. It breaks my heart that women so misunderstand you. And it pisses me off that so many of the good things that have happened for (at least some) women in the past 50 years have created such funky dynamics between empowered women and the good guys who love them.
I stumble in and sit down. Through my sleepiness, I do my best to find that posture that takes on a life of its own.
First of all, we know you’re a consciousness-lovin’, mindfulness-seekin’ soulstar, and aren’t about to trip down some path that would take you TOWARD materialism, narcissism, other-kinds-a-ism, or deeper into the snares of illusion and ego.
It represents being at the effect of your relationship, and taking what you get. When you’re in the blame game, you are looking for who's to blame. You either blame your partner and feel resentful towards them or blame yourself and beat yourself up about it.
I was a born-again virgin. Not for religious reasons. I just knew that every time I had sex with someone new, I couldn't help but give them a piece of my heart. So I decided to stop going to that wide-open place with people who weren't worthy of the gift.
